Google for Startups has selected nine new Israeli firms from the fields of medicine and quality of life to be the first to take part in its first cohort of the Growth Academy program. JBN previously reported on one of the selected firms, AIVF.

The nine companies selected are Olive, which created the world’s first 100% passive non-invasive real-time urinalysis sensor that mounts to any toilet, providing people with health insights; Kai, which offers the “ethical and empathetic” AI companion that helps people discover who they are and who they want to become for better well-being; Embie with a fully connected fertility treatments clinical platform that it says empowers physicians and their patients with real time data into every point of their care.

Then there is Droxi which offers an AI tool that allows clinicians to spend more time with patients by reducing their workload on administrative tasks; BoBo Balance whose mission is to empower seniors to age independently and with confidence by providing personalized balance training that reduces the risk of falls and helps them stay active and healthy; Agado Live, a company that boasts that it reinvents online rehabilitation exercise by enabling personalized group sessions that are effective, affordable and easily available.

Also AIVF, is a reproductive technology company transforming the fertility journey. Their proprietary AI software platform helps fertility clinics optimize IVF processes and outcomes for individuals who want to build their families, X-Trodes, the world’s first customizable, wireless, wearable, medical-grade sensors for advanced monitoring in natural environments and Ritual Health Technologies that says its mission is to democratize relationship wellness. Built on the rich field of relationship science, Ritual will use AI and original audio content to guide users along personalized relationship journeys.

Founded in 2018, by CEO Daniella Gilboa together with Daniel Seidman, AiVF states that it was established to help people who dream of having a child, and the doctors and clinics that support this dream. Daniella Gilboa is an embryologist — a type of biologist trained for IVF. Daniella once explained to JBN that the problem with IVF as it exists today is that “IVF is done very primitively today. It’s more of an art, based on gut feelings and so forth, so I wanted to bring in professional analytics instead of subjective human analysis.”

During the first 6 weeks, participants will learn the latest growth strategy frameworks and how to deploy those through Google solutions in weekly 30min self-study lectures and 2h of video calls of group trainings, case-study discussions, and expert talks. They will also be paired with a dedicated Google growth advisor who will provide support tailored to each startup’s unique needs.

The program is exclusive for Google startup clients (no cost and equity free – invitation based only!) and up to 2 people from each startup will be allowed to participate..
