Gwyneth Paltrow ‘Hands Off My Vagina’ candle

Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow is offering the world a new candle called “Hands off My Vagina.” No, we’re not joking. Paltrow says that the candle is being introduced as a protest to attempts in America to re-impose abortion bans.

We know what you are thinking right now: Gwyneth Paltrow please stick to acting! Enough is enough with the insanity and the stupidity! Get over yourself already.

Unfortunately, this may be all that the actress has going on right now. Gwyneth Paltrow has no new acting projects coming out anytime soon.

Gwyneth Paltrow posted on social media, “The word ‘vagina’ holds a lot of power. And yet, there is a recurring need to say: Hands off. Hands off our vaginas in any context where they’re not invited. Your reproductive organs; your choice.”

“In honor of the anniversary of Roe v. Wade,” explained Gwyneth Platrow, on January 22, goop will donate $25 from the sale of each limited-edition candle sold on goop.com and in our retail stores to the ACLU Foundation’s Reproductive Freedom Project.”

Donations, she said, will be made on each candle sold until the candle sells out or July 1, 2022, whichever occurs first, and are not deductible to purchasers.

Paltrow recently told Elle Magazine, “I’ve always been pretty consistent. Like I’ve always kind of been minimal.”

So what exactly is Gwyneth Paltrow’s Hands off My Vagina candle anyway? Well, according to Goop, clean perfumer and Heretic founder Douglas Little worked with Paltrow to create the “alluring, intoxicating, deeply feminine scent of this candle: Coconut milk and Damascena roses are balanced with raw vanilla, clean notes of hinoki cypress, and hints of toasted cacao for added depth and sensuality.”

The candle is blended in pure vegetable wax with a lead-free cotton wick and scented with a mix of essential oils and safe synthetics, the candle has an approximate burn time of sixty hours.
