Israeli Gaming Company Playtika Acquires Finland’s Reworks

Playtika, an Israeli gaming company, acquired Reworks Oy, a Finnish maker entertainment apps. Redecor. The purchase price was not disclosed. But whatever it may have been, Playtika can certainly afford a few acquisitions these days as the company hit an $11 billion valuation with its IPO this past January.

Reworks is a Helsinki, Finland based mobile apps company that develops and social gaming programs. The company is best known Redecor, which the company describes as a fusion between home design and mobile gaming. Redecor, boasts Reworks, has attracted a dedicated audience that loves to design, find inspiration and connect with other interior design lovers.


Headquartered in Herzliya, Israel, and founded in 2010, Playtika Holding Corp. is a leading mobile gaming company and monetization platform with over 35 million monthly active users across a portfolio of games titles. Playtika was among the first to offer free-to-play social games on social networks and, shortly after, on mobile platforms. Playtika has over 3,700 employees in 19 offices worldwide including Tel-Aviv, London, Berlin, Vienna, Helsinki, Montreal, Chicago, Las Vegas, Santa Monica, Newport Beach, Sydney, Kiev, Bucharest, Minsk, Dnepr, and Vinnytsia.
