Even Chris Wallace Is Now A Target Of President Trump’s Supporters Ire

Fox News’ most respected anchor is the son of the legendary Jewish journalist Mike Wallace.

Chris Wallace Fox News

President Trump’s people are circling the wagons now and even Fox News personalities are fair game for attack. This in spite of the fact that the news channel is decidedly pro-Trump. Now even Chris Wallace is under fire.

If any reporter so much as asks a tough question, or even just points out that an interviewee from the Trump Administration has not actually answered their question, the response is always the same. A variation of the refrain that the reporter is biased against the President.

So what was Mr. Wallace’s sin? He pressed Trump campaign senior advisor Steve Cortes on the issue of the President’s family’s failure to even wear masks during last week’s Trump-Biden debate. This is an especially important issue now that President Trump and his wife have both tested positive for the Corona Virus. He could have been a carrier at the time if last week’s debate.

“Everybody was told to wear a mask why did the first family and chief of staff feel the rules for everybody else didn’t apply to them?”

“Chris, the way you’re starting to harangue me now actually reminds me of what you did to the president during that debate on Tuesday night,” Cortes said. “You were not a neutral moderator then.”
“He had to debate not just Joe Biden but you as well. You were not a neutral moderator.”

Such comments will come as a surprise to most people who actually watched the debate.
