Glee star Naya Rivera missing after boat trip with son

A search is underway after the actress’s four-year-old found alone on a boat in a California lake

Former Glee star Naya Rivera is missing. Her four-year-old son was found alone in a boat wearing a lifejacket in Lake Piru, Southern California.

Officials at Ventura County sheriff’s department launched a boat and helicopter search operation in the lake located approximately 56 miles (90 km) north-west of Los Angeles.

Rivera rented a pontoon boat on Wednesday afternoon. Her identification was found on the boat, according to KNBC report.

The 33-year-old actress is best known for playing  Santana Lopez, a cold-hearted cheerleader in the musical comedy series Glee from 2009 to 2015.  She dated co-star Mark Salling, who in 2018 killed himself after pleading guilty to child pornography charges. In 2014 she married fellow actor Ryan Dorsey, the father of her son. They divorced in 2018 and had joint custody of the boy.
