Hurricane Irma also brings touching stories. This is one of them.

A black dog clings to a branch of wood to be rescued from the deluge but was swept away with the water helplessly without power to stop drifting. Another dog, standing on the bank, saw the black dog distress and, surprisingly, seized the branch, allowing the black dog to go out and save himself.
