Ivanka Trump on Daddy Donald Trump: ‘If he wasn’t my father, I would spray him with Mace’

Ivanka Trump once said about her father Donald Trump, “If he wasn’t my father, I would spray him with Mace.” The comment from 2006 re-surfaced on Thanksgiving day.

The daughter of the President-elect made the statement in response to comments that her father made about her on a talk show appearance. Donald Trump said of his daughter Ivanka that she had a great figure and that he would date her if she were not his daughter.

If you think that this is a fake news story like the ones that were so prominent all over the Internet during the elections, it was reported by The Hill. The Hill is a respected serious journal. And the quote was originally cited in the Chicago Tribune back in 2006, ten years before Donald Trump ran for President.

What should be remembered is that we cannot know the context of the quote or how Ivanka Trump said those words. It is possible that she said them with a smile and was just joking.

Meanwhile, Ivanka shared some of her family’s Thanksgiving pics on Instagram and Twitter.
