Chuck Schumer Slams James Comey

Schumer Gonzales

Senator Charles Schumer has had some very harsh words for FBI Director James Comey over his handling of the Hillary Clinton e mail probe. Schumer made the comments in an interview with Bloomberg News.

The senior Democratic Senator from New York said, “I do not have confidence in him any longer.” And Senator Schumer added, “To restore my faith, I am going to have to sit down and talk to him and get an explanation for why he did this.”

Senator Schumer is not alone. Both President Obama and House Minority leader Nancy Pelosi have also been critical of James Comey’s actions. But to Trump supporters this all sounds like nothing more than sour grapes.

When, just a few months ago, Comey very publicly cleared Hillary Clinton in the investigation of her use of a private server when she served as Secretary of State Democrats were pleased. It was Donald Trump at the time who claimed that it was a sign of corruption and the election being “rigged” against him.

Now Trump is singing James Comey’s praises and Democrats like Charles Schumer are attacking him.
