Illusionist David Copperfield Buys the most expensive home in Las Vegas

 

Illusionist David Copperfield has just bought a mega-mansion for $17.55 million, the record for the highest price ever paid for a single family home in Las Vegas.

Copperfield’s new home is located on the western outskirts of town in a guard-gated Summerlin communityand. It was custom-built into a 31, 000-square-foot stone, glass and steel from a flat parcel purchased in 2005 for a $2.575 million.

The four-story home features a roof terrace a 6, 177-square-foot subterranean garage, 6 bedrooms, 8 full and 3 half bathrooms, plus two guesthouses that each have another bedroom and bathroom. Copperfield’s new home also includes wine cellar, glass-walled gym, full-service spa facility,  a golf simulation room, movie theatre, infinity pool, two commercial grade elevators and a nightclub with a bar and dance floor.

This is not David Copperfield’s only home. In 1997 he bought a four-story penthouse in Midtown Manhattan for $7.4 million. The Illusionist has also 11 islands he owns in the Bahamas that he rents out for around $400, 000 per week.
