Lyft Launches Ghost Mode with Sony Pictures to Celebrate ‘Ghostbusters’ Release

Lyft will bring the iconic Ecto-1 to passengers in NYC, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, and Washington D.C.

To celebrate the release of the upcoming Ghostbusters film, Sony Pictures has partnered with Lyft to launch Ghost Mode, which will give passengers free ride in original Ecto-1’s from the new film and replicas. Lyft riders will just need to toggle into the mode to request the ride.

The limited time option will be available on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time in New York City, Boston, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

Passengers who catch a ride in the Ecto-1 will have the opportunity to win in-car swag and the grand prize of two tickets to the film’s world premiere in Los Angeles on July 9.
