Statista and Forbes decided to find out which companies offer America’s employees the very best situations. Following on from the list of the country’s best large employers which was topped by Marathon Petroleum, this infographic ranks America’s Best Medium-Sized Employers. Focusing on companies with between 1, 000 and 5, 000 employees, L.L. Bean was ranked as America’s Best Medium-Sized Employer for 2016.
Based in Freeport, Maine, it specializes in clothing and outdoor recreation equipment and offers its employees various insurance options as well as health and fitness facilities. The Container Store was ranked second while Novo Nordisk rounded off the top three. In order to determine the scores, Statista and Forbes asked 30, 000 American workers at large and midsized U.S. companies, nonprofit institutions, government agencies, and U.S. divisions of multinationals this question: how likely would they be to recommend their employer to someone else on a scale of 0-10?
