Israeli startup Optimove, a player in Customer Marketing,  has doubled its revenue year-over-year for a third year in a row.

Despite the fact that Optimove is bootstrapped and has never raised VC dollars, the company doubled its revenue and tripled the number of active users on its platform. Optimove’s number of clients increased 71 percent to 180, while it ended 2015 with 80 employees—72 percent more than it had at the start of the year and manages headquarters in Tel-Aviv and offices in New York and London.

The Optimove Customer Marketing Cloud is used by customer-centric businesses to drive their entire customer marketing operation. The technology combines predictive analytics and digital precision marketing to empower marketers to communicate with customers through multiple channels and in real time with emotionally intelligent interactions.

During 2015, Optimove’s platform delivered more than 2.6 billion marketing messages to over 56 million unique customers on behalf of leading brands, including Zynga, Outbrain, Lucky Vitamin, Caesar’s Interactive Entertainment, Nelly, 888 and many others. The most-used message delivery channel was Facebook (with approximately 1.1 billion ad impressions), followed by email (1 billion emails sent), real-time in-platform (9.4 million interactions), SMS (28 million messages) and mobile push (21 million notifications).

“In today’s customer-centric digital cosmos, companies of all sizes and in all verticals understand that marketing technologies are no longer a luxury but a precondition for creating and maintaining a competitive edge. We are proud to play an important role in helping those companies embrace this new era of customer marketing, ” said Pini Yakuel, founder and CEO of Optimove.

“Since laying the initial groundwork in 2010, we are now well positioned to lead the high definition, emotionally intelligent customer marketing space, ” Yakuel added. “Our 100% year-over-year growth is testament to the strength of our team and the hard work they’ve invested to get us to where we are today. They make the Israeli high-tech industry proud.”
