Aston Villa owner Randy Lerner ready to break his five-year silence

CRISIS club Aston Villa’s tycoon owner Randy Lerner is expected to break his five-year transatlantic silence to take the heat off boss Remi Garde.

Aston Villa owner Randy Lerner is now believed to be ready to issue a statement to try and explain to fans just what is going on.

Garde asked for clarification three weeks ago because he feels he is the one in the firing line and being asked to explain things that have gone on long before his arrival ten weeks ago.
