Google has started distributing a new version of Google Glass to Healthcare and manufacturing businesses or Glass for Work start ups. The company is said to be providing the wearable directly to software developers within the computing module, which might be attached to a spread of eye-wear.

According to The WSJ, the new version of Google Glass is being offered as a snap-on module that is actually a mini gadget that includes a button-and-hinge combination and prism. This also implies that it will be attached with the protecting eye-wear used by researchers or will be used in factories.

As per the WSJ report, the new Google Glass version is said to come with an integrated improved Intel Atom processor, provide better battery life (up to two hours) and a wireless connectivity. The prism explore will be moved horizontally and vertically – the first version to do as well. The additionally options battery pack which will be magnetically attached to the module.

These details match mostly the leaked elaborate that had been tipped earlier this month. The previous report had additionally mentioned that the new rugged style is “built to withstand normal drops and bumps” and can even have “fewer openings and tighter buttons to close off areas wherever liquid might otherwise run into the device, ” creating it to water resistant.
