Jason Alexander is facing one felony count of promoting a sexual performance by a child, as well as a felony count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, E! Online reported.
Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore released a statement announcing Jason “Jace” Alexander had been charged with one count of promoting a sexual performance by a child and one count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, according to Yahoo.
DiFiore revealed that an investigator from her office had downloaded child pornography that traced back to an IP address at Alexander’s home.
A press release stated that a forensic examination of computers and external hard drives revealed the digital files of children, less than sixteen years of age, engaged in child pornography.
The father-of-two’s arrest came after an investigator allegedly traced the downloading of child pornography to an IP address at his home. A search warrant was then obtained and his home was searched.
If Alexander, who is being held on 10, 000 US dollars bail, gets convicted, he could face seven years of imprisonment.
