Google releases first update for Android M developer preview 2
Google has released android M developer preview 2, its 1st update to the android on developer since its announcement at the Google I/O earlier this year. The most recent version includes a variety of improvements and bug fixes supported by developer feedback.
First up the there has been an update to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth location and changes to contacts/identity permissions.
Device connections through the USB port are currently set to charge-only mode by default. Alternative enhancements include app permissions, new custom tabs in Chrome, improved app linking, android Pay, a new Doze smart power feature, fingerprint support, quicker charging times, Google currently improvements and extra features also.
Moreover, Preview 2 includes Google Play Services 7.6 and a few “near-final” apis for developers.
The update to android M developer preview 2 is accessible for Nexus 5, 6, 9 and Nexus Player. The developers will install the new release via an over-the-air update whereas the new version of preview system pictures is downloaded from developer preview web site.
