CBS Names Alec Botnick VP of Comedy Development


CBS EXECUTIVE

CBS Television Studios has named Alec Botnick its new VP of Comedy Development. Botnick comes to the new job having served as a lit agent with WME since 2009.

He has a law degree from Loyola Law School. At WME Botnick packaged scripted TV series and represented writers, writer-performers, directors and producers. Clients included Loren Bouchard (Bob’s Burgers), Jason Fuchs (Pan), Cristela Alonzo (Cristela), Grace Helbig (The Grace Helbig Show), The Katydids (Teachers), Riki Lindholm & Kate Micucci (Another Period, Garfunkel & Oates), Lindsey Shockley (Black-ish), Tommy Kail (Freestyle Love Supreme) and Barry Sonnenfeld (Nine Lives).
