Blatt’s Cavaliers lose to Warriors in NBA Finals opener

LeBron James, David Blatt and the Cleveland Cavaliers have taken a 2 to 1 series lead in the NBA finals with a 96 – 91 victory over the Golden State Warriors last night. It was both Cleveland’s first home game in the series as well as the first game that did not go into overtime.

Blatt had a lot to say in the post game press conference.

On his team’s confidence: “It’s just a group that is willing to play as hard as they can to win. When you do that you can live with any consequence. They don’t break.

To an Israeli journalist who asked about winning it all: “Long way to go before we ever start talking about that. We just finished game 3 and everything is wide open. All we have on our mind right now is game 4.”

On LeBron’s missed shots: “He’s playing and we’re playing the way we wat to play.” Blatt said he was amazed to hear that LeBron had missed 20 shots.
