David Letterman invented YouTube. This according to a new video from the satirical website Cracked.
As Letterman gets ready to take his final bow tonight, Cracked points out all of the things that he did first which are now standard fare or videos that people post on YouTube.

For example, both “Stupid Pet Tricks” and “Stupid Human Tricks, ” two of Letterman’s most iconic bits, are basically what people do on YouTube all of the time. For that matter, the Jackass movies are basically a Letterman rip off.
