The reality star’s real life is more interesting than her TV real life.

Bethenny Frankel has been ordered by a judge to pay her estranged husband Jason Hoppy $100, 000 to help cover his legal fees. She will also be required to pay him $26, 000 a month.

Poor Bethenny. Life is tough for a woman who is now worth millions just for being famous for nothing. She made her fame and fortune as cast member of one of those so called real housewives TV shows. The original “Desperate Housewives” is long since gone, but cable TV insists on continuing to batter society with real housewives shows.

The judge said in his ruling that Hoppy, “lacks sufficient funds of his own to compensate counsel without depleting his assets.”

According to a report in Radar Online, Hoppy paid his lawyers a total of $307, 683, and owed them $86, 996.02 as of March 12, 2014. He changed representation on March 20, 2014 and paid a retainer of $50, 000. He owed his new lawyers $221, 962.65 as of July 9, 2014.

Frankel reportedly earns more than $5 million a year, while her husband, Jason Hoppy, takes in only about $100 K a year. So Hoppy must think that all those legal bills are a good investment.

So now she has been ordered to $3, 000 a month in child support for their daughter Bryn and $12, 000 in monthly alimony. Talk about adding insult to injury. Frankel had already lost in her bid to get sole custody of their child.

Oh yah and not only does Hoppy get to live in their $5 million Tribeca pad but Frankel has to cough up $11, 000 a year to maintain it.

The couple has been fighting over the terms of their divorce for two years now.
