A former actress who was once the girlfriend of the late entertainer Sammy Davis Jr. has come forward to accuse comedian Bill Cosby of raping her in a Michigan hotel room in the early 1970s The Mail Online said on December 22.
Katherine McKee, now 65, alleged Monday that Cosby forced himself on her after inviting her to a party on a boat in Detroit. Then a radiant young actress who’d appeared on “Sanford and Son” and even Cosby’s own “The Bill Cosby Show”, McKee never publicly discussed the incident until now, the Mail said.

“It was a rape, but it seemed so strange to call it that. We think of rape as a stranger who attacks you in a parking lot, ” McKee, now a casting agent, told the New York Daily News. ‘I chalked it up to another powerful person in Hollywood who just felt he could take what he wanted from women.”
Now McKee has seen the accusations against Cosby dating back to the 1970s come flooding in. ‘It flushed it out, ‘ she said.
The former Las Vegas showgirl was a party staple among Davis’ Rat Pack and says the crooner was in an open marriage, with her as his ”’road wife, ” the report said.
While on the road herself sometime in the early 70s, McKee stuck around Detroit to visit family following a performance. Cosby, she told the News, happened to be in town at the time, too.
McKee says Cosby invited her to a party then asked her to meet him in his room with some ribs from a local barbecue joint. When she arrived, she says he immediately pounced on her. She did as he asked and has regretted it since. The Mail said.
‘I remember I walked in the door, and he had a robe and cap on. He took the ribs from my hands and just grabbed me, ‘ she said. “It was so fast and so shocking and so unbelievable.”
McKee says Cosby was “rude and cold” to her for the rest of the night. She never told her famous lover what happened. “I didn’t want to put that in Sammy’s head, ” McKee said.
But Davis has been dead for over twenty years and 77-year-old Cosby’s reputation as the 1980s and 90s most trusted TV dad has been totally besmirched by some twenty women’s sexual assault accusations, according to the report.
Now McKee says Cosby should sit for a lie detector test after the comedian’s almost blanket denial of wrongdoing in any of the alleged incidents.
Cosby has been under siege amid allegations that he drugged women and sexually assaulted them, dating back to the 1970s. He has never been criminally charged in connection with the accusations, and his lawyer has denied many of them, the report said.
