On the Labor Front: Bethenny Frankel, NeNe Leakes, Fight over Who’s making More

Bethenny Hosts NeNe Leakes, Miss America, Heather Dubrowm, Bevy Smith, And Nicole Byer

File this one under life style of the privileged and callused: “Real Housewives of New York City” returning New York Housewife Bethenny Frankel and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” diva NeNe Leakes are fighting over which of them is the highest-paid Bravo Housewife, the NY Daily News reported.

According to a source inside Bravo speaking to the News, “Bethenny is getting paid just as much as NeNe, which is $250, 000 an episode. NeNe is now pissed because she took time off from other projects to film the new season, and she was the highest paid of all the Housewives, until Bethenny was in negotiations to come back.”

Probably breaks the heart of any illegal migrant worker reading this before going out to ride the truck bed to the lettuce fields.

Remember how Frankel was denying her return to reality TV only a month ago? Well, according to the same source, her number one demand while negotiating a return to the very reality TV show that gave her life and fame and a progressive case of anorexia, was to be the number one paid cast member.

“She makes more than all of the other women, but she also brings the ratings, which have not been great the past few seasons, ” the source said. “Listen, if she can get it, why not ask for it?”

Frankel’s official statement read: “I’m genuinely excited, with a side of slightly nervous, for my return to ‘The Real Housewives of New York City.’”

Leakes, according to the News, has been suffering from blood clots near her lungs and recently stayed home from filming in the Philippines for the show.

Just like those illegal migrant lettuce pickers.
