The celebrity-watchers have all noticed that Sean Penn is like a new guy entirely since he started dating Charlize Theron. Us magazine reports the two are enjoying filming “The Last Face” in Theron’s native South Africa, with Penn as director and Theron as the star. Sean Penn’s academy award winning actress daughter Dylan is thrilled with her father’s girlfriend, “She’s the only woman since my mother (actress Robin Wright) who can shut my dad up. The only woman! That is a fucking challenge so, she’s a powerhouse.”
Apparently Madonna, another ex-wife of Sean Penn’s, wasn’t able to keep him from getting into infamous scuffles with paparazzi. While Robin Wright did get Penn to shut up, according to Dylan, the couple still split up in 2010, although they were married in 1996, which is a pretty long marriage by showbiz standards.

Proud of her father’s companion for keeping Penn in line, Dylan, aged 23, told Us what she looks for in a man, “Funny, smart. I really don’t go off (sic) looks, but I am into height. I would like them to be a bit taller than me (does she have more than one in mind?) They don’t need a good body or anything (more than one of them in one body? strange). I always look at hands or someone’s back. If a guy has good hands, I’m all about it. Veiny, big hands.” Perhaps if he is mute, that would help too. I’ll have to tell that to my local shadchanit (matchmaker) what she is looking for, although Dylan has just one Jewish grandfather, Sean’s dad, director Leo Penn, who gave his son his first big acting break in a 1974 episode of Little House on the Prairie he was directing.
