In his Los Angeles home, Israeli billionaire Haim Saban was thrown a surprise 70th birthday party by his wife Cheryl, and he told guest Hillary Clinton his birthday wish: that she should run for President. It is hardly a secret that many feel she is a shoe-in for the Democratic Party ticket, but Hillary didn’t comment one way or the other at the event, which was attended by Barbara Streisand and former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair.

Arutz Sheva reported that Saban was supposed to have his birthday party on the Hawaiian island of Lanai, but cancelled because of an approaching hurricane (so pray tell, inform me how it was a surprise party?but never mind). Hillary Clinton praised Saban for his “great contributions to relations between Israel and the United States (by using the word “contributions, ” was she hinting at something?). Saban responded with, “I would be happy, madam, if on my birthday you would announce you are running for President of the United States.” Well, she didn’t announce this in front of the 220 guests, but we can imagine the facial expression. Saban, who was born in Egypt, emigrated to Israel and then left Israel for Los Angeles, is worth $3 billion, thanks to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers franchise. He said he would spend “as much as needed, ” to get Clinton elected.
