Ebola Toy Maker Sells Out Stock, Offering Anthrax, Botulism and Cholera Instead

Reuters has alerted us that Giantmicrobes, maker of plush toys based on viruses, bacteria, and all manner of fun, microscopic organisms, announced it has sold out its entire Ebola stock, which includes that beloved Ebola doll for $9.95, her sister, the large Ebola doll for $29.95, and the delightful “Ebola Petri Dish” toy for $14.95, according to the company’s website.

“Since its discovery in 1976, Ebola has become the T Rex of microbes, ” says the Giantmicrobes website, insisting it’s both a gag gift and an educational toy.
