Twelve military vehicles entered the Gaza strip on Wednesday in the Khan Younis district, witnesses told the Ma’an news gaency.
The vehicles reportedly crossed about 600 feet into the Palestinian controlled territory, Israeli soldiers scanned the area, and shot at Arab agricultural workers to discourage them from attempting to interfere.

The workers fled the field, and no injuries were reported.
The IDF Spokesperson’s office hasn’t commented on the report yet.
On August 26, Israel and Hamas entered an Egyptian-brokered cease-fire agreement, but Israel has retained the right to continue pursuing the destruction of Hamas terror tunnels inside the Gaza Strip, as well as act against other suspected terrorist movements. Since the end of August there have been several, similar Israeli excursions beyond the Gaza border, some involving heavy, armored bulldozers, leading to speculations that the IDF was going after newly discovered tunnels.
Ma’an reported that a Palestinian farmer was shot and injured by an Israeli patrol on Sunday in northern Gaza. An IDF spokesperson said the farmer had come too close to the border fence.
Since the signing of the agreement, The Israeli Navy has opened fire at Gaza fishermen, to enforce the blockade. A few fishermen have also been arrested.
