Fittereli developed a unique solution that will enable online shoppers to visualize what items would look like using a 3D personalized avatar of their bodies. Users will be able to see the clothes fitted directly onto their virtual body avatar without the need to visit a physical store.

Have you ever ordered clothing on line that looked amazing on the website and waited anxiously for it to come in the mail only to discover that it looks terrible on you after it arrived? This is the main drawback of buying clothing through the Internet. So if you ever wanted a way to see how a garment would actually look on you before punching in your credit card information then Fittereli has the solution.

First a user goes through a 3D scanning system that will be offered and then the gets a virtual twin or avatar that will try on clothing for you.

Offering a virtual change room, the company’s website declares that you can, “See how garments would look and fit on you! Wow and Amaze your friends! Never again will you order clothing online and get a bad fit!!”

Fitterli is run by its four co-founders CEO Daniel Mankowitz, CTO Aaron Wetzler, CSO Matan Sela and COO Sebastian Derhy.

The winners were announced at a ceremony held in Lithuania. Marcin Hejka, Vice President, Intel Capital, Managing Director, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, who chaired the judging panel said: “I have been overwhelmed by the dynamic and innovative entries at this year’s Intel Business Challenge. From retail technology to medical innovation they showcased exceptional entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to marry social innovation with technology. The Challenge is a great opportunity for young entrepreneurs to present their ideas to a wider community, and the winners can now tap into its vast potential to market and develop their products and ideas”.
