Court rules Really, Really Gross Morgue Sex Lawsuit Can Go Forward

A lawsuit can go forward against Hamilton County, Ohio, officials, based on allegations that a morgue attendant sexually abused three female corpses, a federal appeals court judge ruled on Friday, WKRC in Cincinnati reported..

In the ruling, the judges said a jury might conclude the defendants failed “recklessly and wantonly” to supervise the attendant.

The defendants include a former coroner and morgue director.

The panel cited evidence that supervisors were aware that Kenneth Douglas was drinking and having sex with live women while on the job.

OK, that’s understandable, but were his supervisors really expected to know he also did it with the departed?

Douglas has already been convicted of gross abuse of a corpse.

I’ll say.
