Obama Turns 53, Birthday Gift: Lighter Schedule

President Obama turned 53 years old today, Monday, and his birthday gift, apparently, will be a light public schedule.

Obama was born on August 4, 1961.

He a lineup of meetings with aides throughout the day, most importantly over the economy, a topic the president will discuss this afternoon with Treasury Secretary Jack Lew.

Monday also marks the start of the first-ever U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit. While Obama is scheduled to address the summit Tuesday, it possible that he will also drop in on some of the meetings today.

He’s just unpredictable.
