Paypal Co-Founder Max Levchin Has a Cure For the App Curious

Max+Levchin PAY PAL GETTY

Tired of having friends tell you about the newest apps they’ve discovered or your having to tout yours? Wouldn’t it be easier to just show your friends and neighbors your apps without all the jabbering on? Paypal co-founder Max Levchin and HVF have developed the solution with Homer, an iPhone app, that lets you take a screen shot of your home screen and share it with anyone. Homer then scans the apps and makes it easy for others to see what apps you have and vice-versa.

Of course, there are essential privacy features that make the Homer app enjoyable for everyone, even those who have skeletons in their app closet or just happen to want to keep their browsing habits to themselves. Features allow users to conceal certain apps from the screenshot. The service is available on iPhone and in the U.S., and it makes all this discussion about apps a lot simpler.
