Syrian airfield hit by Israel’s F-15 jets, Report

Two Israeli Air Force F-15 fighter jets carried out a strike with eight guided missiles on T-4 airfield in central Syria and informed the White House of its intentions beforehand, according to NBC News on Monday.

Senior US government officials confirmed Monday the news hours after Washington disavowed responsibility for the attack, which reportedly claimed at least 14 servicemen, including several Iranian advisers.

Israel refused to comment on the bombing and declining to confirm the American claims.

The Syrian air defenses destroyed five guided missiles. Three missiles reached the western part of the airfield in Homs province. No Russian advisers are among the casualties.

According to a report by SANA news agency, there are deaths and injuries among the military.
