Rafaeli will begin to host Big Brother after she finishes host the upcoming season of X Factor, another program that is broadcast on Reshet TV. The top model to be paid NIS 2.5 million per season for Big Brother (about $706 million).

In anticipation of the split of Channel 2 this November, each of the franchisees will move to a new channel and broadcast seven days a week, with Keshet moving to channel 12 and Reshet to channel 13. As part of the preparations, the arms race began with new programs, formats, and talents on the transition.
The Big Brother Israel was aired for 8 seasons in Keshet TV. About three years ago Endemol, the company holding the rights to the Big Brother format in Israel, acquired 33% ofReshet TV’s shares and as a result decided to transfer the popular reality show to Reshet.
