Britney Spears was slated to meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for sit-down dinner due to “Hundreds of fans jumped on her, and she decided to cancel it all,” said sources close to Spears.

Ynet News reported“It was a huge mess, photographers with hundreds of people gathered around her. She never stopped an excursion during any other part of her latest tour. It could only happen here.”

Those close to Britney Spears blamed the Prime Minister’s Office who had rushed to publish a press release despite never receiving confirmation from the Spears camp that the meeting was to take place.

The meeting with Netanyahu also included children battling cancer; however, Spears’s inner circle said that she will meet with the children on Monday and that they will be invited to her show.

Spears, unlike other stars, like Justin Bieber, who travels from place to place with his private jet, flew to Tel Aviv on a regular flight from Hong Kong, where she appeared on her Asian tour.

She landed in Israel with her management team, the dancers, and her father. Her performance in Israel is the last in Spears’ tour, which she wrote in her Facebook post: “Last stop in Tel Aviv on Monday.”

The star, who had evaded yesterday the paparazzi who were waiting for her on the way out of the airport, arrived with her hair tied in a baseball cap, shorts, and a sports shirt. She immediately transferred to the Masada hall, where she signed her passport and soon left with her entourage to the Dan Hotel in Tel Aviv, where she is staying in the royal suite.

Britney Spears herself preferred to go to the hotel in a Mercedes, while the rest of her crew made do with the van. Even at the entrance to the hotel, the singer avoided the many fans who waited for her for long hours in the hope of winning some moments of glory with her.

Instead, she went into her suite, not before her people made a video that her list of requirements had been fully supplied: a clean air suite of smoke, a floor isolated from guests, a music system, floral arrangements and scented candles. Britney Spears spent most of her first day in Israel completing the hours of sleep from the long flight.

After a late breakfast in her room, the singer went down to the hotel’s gym, where she was heating up for the show tonight. At the end of the heating, she preferred not to travel the beaches of Tel Aviv under the hot weather, and instead settled for her balcony overlooking the sea. However, Spears also did not give up visiting popular sites, and in the late afternoon, she arrived in Jerusalem, where she toured the Old City, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and the Western Wall.

Tonight, more than 50,000 fans are expected to fill the park. Following Spears will go on stage at 21:00. She will leave the country on a flight to Los Angeles.

It is to be Spear’s first performance in Israel.
