Dave Franco and Alison Brie Are Married!

“I’m not very bridal, instinctually,” Dave Franco ‘s now wife explained “Marriage never really interested me, I guess because I was very focused on my work”

 

Dave Franco and the 33-year-old Mad Men star, Alison Brie got married in private. The couple, who met at the 2011 Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans, capt the news in secret. A rep for the Hollywood actress confirmed the marriage on Monday evening. No other details were provided including the date of the wedding.

The marriage come after more than five years of dating. Their engagement announced in August 2015.

Dave Franco’s brother James later took to Instagram posting a sweet photo of the two, along with the caption “Congrats Davy and Allison!!! engaged!!! I WUUUUUV YOU.”

But not this time. Even James keep silent.

“I’m not very bridal, instinctually,” Brie explained to Yahoo! Style. “Marriage never really interested me, I guess because I was very focused on my work. I wasn’t sure if I really saw the point to it. I bought a dress on Net-a-Porter, and I’m like, ‘Maybe I’ll wear that.’”

 

As for what changed her mind about marriage, she explained: “I just met that person that I was like, ‘Well, I’m really in love with you and would like to grow old with you.’ I actually think it’s much more romantic when two people are like, ‘Oh, I could go either way on marriage, but I want to marry you.’”
