Ari Emanuel Meets With Donald Trump

ari-emanuel-2

Ari Emanuel, the high powered Hollywood agent, has met with Donald Trump. No he was not offered a cabinet post.

The co-CEO of WME/IMG just so happens to be the brother of Rahm Emanuel, the Democratic Mayor of Chicago. Yes that Rahm Emanuel — the one who served as President Obama’s Chief of Staff, is close to the Clintons and who just last week openly defied Donald Trump by declaring Chicago an open city for immigrants who Trump plans to deport.

So what exactly did Ari Emanuel and Trump have to talk about anyway?

Trump’s entourage, of course. Ari Emanuel was the inspiration for Jeremy Piven’s character in the hit HBO show “Entourage.” Well at least that is what people are saying. There was no official statement as to the content of their meeting.

The two men met for about 45 minutes at Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster, N.J. on Sunday.

Emanuel was Donald Trump’s agent when the President Elect starred on his own reality show “The Apprentice.” The two are still close in spite of the fact that Ari Emanuel is a big donor to Democratic causes. So maybe this is Trump’s way of reaching out to Democrats.

“This is a great guy. He’s a great friend of mine, ” Trump told reporters.

But for now it seems that Ari Emanuel will not have any official role in a Donald Trump administration.
