Bill Maher, Sarah Silverman, Chelsea Handler and More Slam Trump’s Debate Performance

Sarah Silverman

Bill Maher, Sarah Silverman and Chelsea Handler were among the countless celebrities who took to Twitter Wednesday night to slam Donald Trump for his performance in the third and final debate against Hillary Clinton.

Judd Apatow, Bette Midler and Mayim Bialik also joined in on the fun. The stars tried to have some fun with what at times was so scary it seems that the last debate was designed in the spirit of Halloween which is less than two weeks away.

For Maher, it was Trump’s comments on abortion that were the biggest source for his acerbic wit. Bill Maher took the opportunity to not only point out that Trump is clueless about the abortion debate, but also to get in a zinger about the Donald’s pursuits of much younger women saying, “Trump on fetuses: In 20 years, they’ll be dating me!”

And Bill Maher had plenty more to say in these tweets:

And then Maher had this to say:

Meanwhile Chelsea Handler could not resist comparing Donald Trump to Bill Cosby, in effect calling the Republican Presidential nominee a rapist.

But Handler’s best line was probably this one:

Mayim Bialik shared these thoughts:

As for Bette Midler, she seemed most concerned with Donald Trump’s claims that he might not honor the election results when he loses:

Judd Apatow probably said it best with this tweet:

But Sarah Silverman may have had the best comments of the night:

So thank you Bill Maher, Sarah Silverman, Chelsea Handler and all the rest for making last night’s scary event a bit lighter.
