Rogue Wave Software acquires Israeli co Zend Technologies

Israeli media estimate the sale was for less than the $70 million that that the company has raised to date.

Rogue Wave Software has acquired Israeli company Zend Technologies , which offers end-to-end PHP web and mobile application development and deployment solutions. With 50 percent of the web workload running on PHP, including Magento, Drupal, and WordPress, Zend products drive PHP in the enterprise, from code creation through production deployment.

No financial details were disclosed. Israeli media stimate the sale for less than the $70 million that the company has raised to date.

Zend CEO Andi Gutmans and CTO Zeev Suraski founded the company in 1999. The company has headquartered in Cupertino, California and development center in Israel.
