YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki announced a brand new version of its mobile app which is currently available on android and mobile web browsers (iOS coming soon), it will make easier for creators to publish video and edit video directly within the app, and easier for viewers to take a channel with just one click on button touch and with 10 million of those touches, channel owners will earn the new Diamond play button reward.

The design even puts your subscriptions and profile right at the top for simple access. This can be additionally the version that adds the flexibility to look at those vertical videos in full screen, it’s expect to come your way soon if you do not have.

One factor that is not there yet? It is support real 3D virtual reality video, just like the kind we have seen from NextVR. That is coming soon, to require things a step more than the current 360-degree support. It is watch time up 60% across devices, and 100% on mobile from last year, thus we’d expect there is a lot more planned to stay that growth going.
