Sony launches new Gold and Silver tiers for Xperia Lounge app

Sony unveiled the Xperia Lounge app last week, bringing an entire new user interface. Sony talked concerning new Lounge tiers that might bring exclusive Sony content to Gold and Silver owners. At the time there was little data on these tiers, however Sony has currently revealed all.

Your Xperia Lounge tier is decided by the phone you own. All Xperia Z series users can have access to Xperia Lounge Gold, while all alternative users can get Xperia Lounge Silver. There’ll be varied levels of exclusive content reckoning on that tier you belong to. This will embody exclusive competitions, offers, new apps or the newest movies, music or TV episodes.

To upgrade your Xperia Lounge expertise, open the app, click on the 3 dots within the top right and click on “My Account”. If you’re an Xperia Z series owner, you must be prompted to “Upgrade to Gold!”

You will then see a confirmation of your new level, during this case, Gold. Notice however the header color of the app has modified from Blue to Gold.

Notice however bound things are currently labeled as “GOLD”. for instance, the SmartWatch 3 promotion within the screen below right has the following message: “You are GOLD! Welcome to one of your exclusive experiences within the app.”
