Israel conducted a test on Tuesday morning of a new missile system that its defense industry is developing .
The new system is said to be able to shoot down all manner of enemy missiles while they are still in the air. Israel definitely needs such an anti-missile missile with the growing threat of Iranian made missiles that are poised against it from Lebanon.

Many Israelis located in the central part of the country witnessed the trail of smoke from the missile.
Israel’s Defense Ministry stated that, “The test was planned by the defense establishment long in advance, and was carried out as planned.”
