One of the young co-founders of cloud software company Box, which went public earlier this year, turned to Bravo TV’s “Millionaire Matchmaker” Patti Stanger several years ago in an ultimately unsuccessful effort to find love.

At the time of the episode of the reality TV program in 2010, Dylan Smith was a 24-year-old entrepreneur who Stanger called the nerdiest guy she had ever met in her life, Business Insider said.

“I know it’s pretty rare to be a self-made millionaire at 24, but I like to think I’m a pretty smart guy, ” Smith said during the program. “I definitely wouldn’t consider myself a typical millionaire. I think most people would consider me a geek, myself included.”

In the program, Stanger had Smith learn some moves from a dance coach, and then arranged a mixer with a group of women so he could pick one for a date. After Smith made his choice, the date went well and the young woman even agreed to go out with him again.

Although that relationship didn’t last, Smith’s search for love had a happy ending, as he married a nice Jewish girl, Yael Goshen, in 2013.

Many of the women who participated in the 2010 episode probably regret not trying harder to win over Smith. According to the Wall Street Journal, Smith and co-founder Aaron Levie are now worth more than $100 million following the company’s IPO.

Stanger’s “Millionaire Matchmaker”, now in its eighth season, reached the 100-episode milestone in March.
