Israel’s Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., the largest pure-play security vendor globally, announced its new global partner program, the Stars Program. This new program, it boasts, will create unrivalled sales opportunities for partners, giving them all the resources they need to dramatically accelerate their Check Point sales revenue and develop even closer business relationships.

The company developed the Stars Program in consultation with its channel partners, to help cut through the complexity often associated with selling and supporting security solutions. The program enables simpler and flexible collaboration with partners, accelerating sales cycles and provides them with expert knowledge and resources to become trusted advisors to their customers.

The Stars Program also offers an extensive range of training and support tools. Check Point is inviting partners to its annual Sales Kick-Off, so they can deepen their knowledge of the company’s roadmap and solutions first-hand.

“The Stars Program has a single goal: to make Check Point partners more successful, knowledgeable and profitable, ” said Amnon Bar-Lev, President at Check Point Software Technologies. “We want our partners to be a fully-integrated part of the Check Point team, so we are delivering the best growth opportunities and rewards in the industry.”

Richard Enderby, Head of Product Management at SecureData, UK said: “Check Point has always provided excellent support to partners, and the new program gives us even more opportunities to grow our security business by working in harmony with its sales and expert teams. Check Point has a clear vision and strategy around the key issues that IT directors are talking to us about right now, in both new and emerging technology areas. This is aligned with SecureData’s strategy, by offering the complete security spectrum from assessing risk to detecting threats, protecting valuable assets and responding to breaches when they happen. The new program’s support will enable us to deliver stronger added-value to our customers, helping us to drive growth, awareness and provide key security services”.

The Stars Program’s tiered levels reward channel partners with competitive product discounts and guaranteed margins, enabling partners to take full advantage of new opportunities available in the growing network and data security market. It includes four levels of accreditation, ranging from 2 Stars (Certified) to the invite-only 4 Stars Elite. The program provides dedicated account teams, enhanced sales tools and market development funding, increased product margins and incentives for partners, and enhanced sales and product training.
