The 35 year old actor who starred on The Killing really needs a break. His much hoped for break out film, 2014’s remake of “Robocop, ” was a real stinker that bombed at the box office. That is why he is lucky to be teaming up now with Pike.

The actress, also 35, is a former Bond Girl who is coming off the hugely successful “Gone Girl” which co-starred Ben Affleck. The British Pike also received critical acclaim for her performance in it.

“The Bends, ” which does not yet have an expected release date, will be directed by Jean Luc Herbulot.

Kinnaman has three movies due out this year alone, but is not the star in any of them. Coming in April “Child 44” is about a Russian investigating a series of murders in the Stalinist era of the Soviet Union. It stars Tom Hardy and Gary Oldman.

“Knight of Cups, ” from director Terrance Malick, is about a screenwriter who lives in Los Angeles and who must try to make sense of the strange events occurring around him. It stars Christian Bale and Natalie Portman and is due out in December.

Due out in March is a film starring Liam Neeson called “Run All Night, ” about an aging hitman who is forced to take on his brutal former boss to protect his estranged son and his family.
