Appforma, an Israeli startup that offers marketing solutions to small businesses will soon have a mobile app for both Android and IOS systems. The company expects the app to be available by the end of Q1 2015, Jewish Business News has learned.

Currently, appforma’s clients must log on to a cloud based interface through a computer.

An OurCrowd company which was represented at its Equity Crowdfunding Summit in Jerusalem Tuesday, appforma was founded in 2011 and states its mission to be to help small businesses grow by providing the most effective, easy to use, affordable and aesthetic marketing solution out there. It provides an Aartificial Marketing Intelligence with creative ideas and content to help local businesses achieve results with limited budgets and minimal time.

As company COO and co-founder Hallel Porat told JBN at the OurCrowd summit Tuesday in Jerusalem, “One of the things we’re adding in the next quarter is we’re going mobile. All of our clients will be able to manage their campaigns with a new mobile app that gives the same functionality as through our dashboard.”

He added, “we’re working with small businesses always on the go with no time so we make it possible for them to do their marketing activities in only 10 minutes per month.”

Appforma CEO Zvika Enav added, “small business owners don’t have the time, skills or budget to run effective marketing. We are a virtual marketing agency for these guys.”

Hallel explained why the 3 year old company went to OurCrowd to help it raise investments. This was about a year and a half after its founding.

“Another co-founder had worked with Jon Medved in the past so he knew Jon and made the connections with him, ” said Porat. “Jon was very excited about our company. He understood the value and potential of small businesses.”

The two have been very happy with the help that their company received from OurCrowd in growing their business, especially from Jon Medved personally. And this was not just with regards to the money that he raised for them. Porat and Enav both agreed that Medved was most helpful with his connections. These included their biggest marketing partner who has so far brought them the largest number of new clients of all of their partners.

Zvika Enav had nothing but praises for Medved’s involvement and his commitment to their company. As he said, “Jon is very approachable, very passionate and he loves the [appforma] company.”
