World’s Best-Paid Jewish DJ David Guetta Earned $30 Million in 2014

According to Forbes, electronic dance music has never been more popular and the world’s leading DJ’s are earning tens of millions of dollars. The industry is incredibly lucrative and the top ten-highest earners have made an incredible $268 million this year. Calvin Harris has become hugely successful, working with artists like Rihanna and Kesha – he leads the pack with earnings of $66 million. David Guetta comes in second with $30 million while Avicii rounds off the top three with $28 million.

David Guetta , the son of a Moroccan Jewish father, was born in France in 1967. He is a music producer and disc jockey (DJ), and co-founder of Gum Productions. Guetta released his first album,  Just a Little More Love, in 2002. Later, he released Guetta Blaster (2004) and Pop Life (2007) included the hit single “Delirious” featuring Tara McDonald.Guetta achieved mainstream success with his 2009 album One Love which included the hit singles “When Love Takes Over”, “Gettin’ Over You”, “Sexy Bitch”, all three of which reached #1 in the UK, and “Memories”.Guetta is reportedly working on the follow-up to his 2011 “Nothing But the Beat” album, but meanwhile “Lovers On The Sun” is conquering the European and Australian charts.
