Ian Schrager’s Miami Beach Marriott Extravaganza May Open in November

Ian Schrager’s Miami Beach Marriott Edition will accept reservations in January 2015, but there is reliable chatter that this deluxe hotel on the site of the old Savoy may open its doors as early as November 2014. There are mass hirings for employees at all levels to manage the hotel’s many features, including an ice skating rink, bowling alley and nightclub. It is expected to have the largest private beach front in the entire city. The luxury hotel has been called a “game changer” and is a joint effort of master architects Glenn Pushelberg and George Yabu with the talents of landscape designer Madison Cox.
